  6. Either Slainte or Nest for me - I like them both -- Slainte puts a little more of the Irish theme in things.

  9. I'll let Andy be the deciding factor...since I'm fine with either...I don't want to cancel our votes out.

  10. I think Krewe of Salinte has more staying power, it will grow with us and I think we can make a cool logo with it.

  14. Sláinte or Sláinte Mhath is commonly used as a drinking toast in Ireland and Scotland. Sláinte/Sláinte Mhaith is the Irish spelling; in Scottish Gaelic, it is spelled Slàinte/Slàinte Mhath. Sometimes it is corrupted into "Slanj" which is quite close to the original pronunciation. It means literally "Good Health" - slàinte translates vaguely as health in Gaelic. "Mhath" (pron. "vaa") is the lenited form of "math" (pron. "maa").[1]

The word was used in old-Irish before Scottish Gaelic became a spoken language, and was oddly spelled 'Sláinte' before the late 20th century beginnings and finishing of 'the standard' - 'an chaighdeán'.

  15. On a t-shirt or our logo we could play off the proper spelling: Slàinte and what looks like a Mississippi-style pronunciation: Slawn-cha
